HIRING UTILITY CLERK

The Town of Troy will be taking applications for the position of UTILITY CLERK. This will be a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri.
Responsibilities will be, but not limited to: billing monthly utility services, uploading meter readings and verifying accuracy, print bills, payment collection, create new customer accounts, finalize discontinued accounts, assisting with budgets and any other job duties assigned.
Qualifications: Experience with Word & Excel, ability to multi-task, knowledge of basic business mathematics, generally accepted accounting principles, ability to consult technical sources and documents to obtain information related to town and government, ability to respond to the general public tact and courtesy. Must be able to be bonded.
