Town of Troy Cemetery

In 1860 the town proposed to buy cemetery land from Nick Marks, two acres for $120.00. The money was raised by subscription in 1861, which came to $273.00 and the balance was put into the cemetery fund. The cemetery is now approximately 4.6 acres.

CEMETERY FEES:

$250.00 per grave lot (4x10 ft.) for Troy residents

$375.00 per grave lot (4x10 ft.) for non Troy residents

You can now view the Troy Cemetery online. If someone is buried in the cemetery, simply search the name and it will pull up the plot.

Troy cemetery is home to Army Private First Class Clifford M. Mills of Troy, IN. Seventy-five years after his death, he finally returned home to his final resting place next to his wife in Troy, IN.
